Our Programs

At Herring Brook we offer an outstanding and extremely comprehensive educational curriculum, addressing every aspect of developing the “whole” child.  We are nationally accredited by the NAEYC and we also follow the State of Massachusetts Department of Education’s  “CURRICULUM GUIDELINES FOR PRESCHOOL LEARNING EXPERIENCES”.  Our preschool program is rich with materials and provides continuous opportunities for academic enrichment, physical, social and cognitive growth, entertainment and friendship. We use an "integrated" curriculum approach based upon themes and children's areas of interest.  The themes are used as the basis for lesson planning. Our teachers plan developmentally appropriate learning activities that include all of the following areas of skill & knowledge:
