Herring Brook Day
School is open 50 weeks per year. |

WINTER VACATION - We are closed
Christmas Eve through January 1st. Classes resume on January
2nd. |
|
|
SUMMER VACATION – We are closed
the week of the fourth of July. |
|
|
SCHOOL YEAR - Begins the day
after Labor Day and runs through the end of June. |
|
|
SUNSATIONAL SUMMER CAMP – Is an
8 week program. Camp begins the Monday after the 4th of July
and continues through the month of August. |
|
|
HOLIDAY CLOSINGS – Labor Day,
Columbus Day, Thanksgiving & the Friday after Thanksgiving,
Christmas Eve through January 1st, Martin Luther King Day,
President’s Day, Memorial Day,and the whole week of the 4th of
July. |

SNOW CLOSINGS – We follow
Scituate Public School’s snow cancellations. Every time
Scituate Public Schools cancel school, have a delayed opening, or
announce an early release due to inclement weather, Herring Brook
does whatever Scituate schools are doing. Please have back-up
contingency care in place, and ready to use, in case of snow days
(…and also whenever your child is
sick.) | |
